GD Barber Lounge (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you book an appointment, buy a product or contact us, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and mobile number when you make a booking.
- Any notes you give your barber about how you like your hair cut.
- Your appointment history, so we can keep your cut consistent.
- Basic, anonymous website analytics — pages viewed, device type, referring site.
Why we collect it
- To hold your appointment and send you a confirmation and reminder.
- To contact you if we need to change or cancel a booking.
- To give you a better cut next time by remembering the last one.
- To send you occasional offers — only if you opted in, and you can leave any time.
What we don't do
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers that run our booking, email and payment systems on our behalf. We don't store card details — payments are taken in the shop through our payment terminal.
How long we keep it
Appointment records are kept while you're an active customer and for a reasonable period afterwards. Ask us to delete your details any time and we will, unless we're required to keep a record for tax purposes.
